Former Bolivian national team player Sergio Jauregui was killed during a football match in Mexico, Proceso reports.
According to the source, Sergio Jauregui took part in an amateur-level friendly match in Mexico. At one point, the defender went to the touchline to drink water. At that moment, a man ran up to him and fired six shots. The killer then fled in an unknown direction. Sergio Jauregui died on the spot.
It should be added that at the time of his death, Sergio Jauregui was 38 years old. Jauregui played 13 matches for the Bolivian national team.
