Metalist 1925 head coach Viktor Skrypnyk expressed his opinion on the German championship, where he once played for Werder Bremen.
- UPL or Bundesliga? Unfortunately, the Bundesliga. Because I started here, in Ukraine, I played here. Then I moved to Germany when I was 26 years old. I played there for 8 years and then started studying football there. Everything that I have now, I earned there, including the traits that distinguish me from others. I was taught football there.
I enjoy watching the Bundesliga because it's the country where I developed as a player. However, I am very pleased to be able to work in Ukraine, because I want to pass on the little experience I have to our guys and work with them. Of course, in the situation we are in now, it is very important for me to be here," Skrypnyk said in an interview with Metalist 1925's official website.
