The administration of Uzhhorod's Avangard Stadium has posted a letter from the UAF on its Facebook page stating that there will be no changes to the list of accredited arenas for the second part of the 2023/2024 season of the Ukrainian Premier League.

"The Premier League returns to the Avangard Stadium. The decision was made by the Ukrainian Football Association. According to the document, under martial law, UPL matches are held at stadiums that meet regulatory and safety requirements and are included in the "List of Stadiums" agreed by the relevant Committees before the start of the new season.

Therefore, the UAF considers it inappropriate to make any changes to this list during the season. This decision is important for the development of football in Zakarpattia, which has become the backdrop for the leading clubs of Ukraine.

We thank the newly elected President of the Ukrainian Football Association, Andriy Shevchenko, for his support. And also to the ZAF represented by Ivan Duran and the entire executive committee of the Transcarpathian Football Association. We are also grateful for the assistance of the deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Uzhhorod City Council, who supported the appeal and asked the UAF to allow UPL matches to be held here," the statement reads.

In turn, journalist Igor Semyon also reports: "There was no lighting at the Minaya stadium and there is no lighting as of now. But the UAF has informed the club that there will be no changes in the list of accredited arenas compared to the first part of the season."

It will be recalled that the match of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship between Minaj and Dynamo, which was to be played on 3 December last year, did not take place. Due to the prolonged air raid across Ukraine, which began shortly after the referee blew the opening whistle, the match delegate decided to postpone the game. This decision was also due to the inability to finish the match in daylight, as there is no artificial lighting at the Minaj Stadium.
