Former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Tete has refused to move to Zenit St. Petersburg. This is reported by the Turkish portal Fotospor.
According to the source, Tete responded to Zenit with a refusal because of the full-scale war waged by Russia against Ukraine. The Brazilian continues to help Ukrainians who suffered from the war.
Recall, earlier Tete played in the Shakhtar team, but in the spring of 2022 took advantage of the new FIFA rule and suspended his agreement with the Donetsk club. The winger played on loan for Lyon and Leicester, and not so long ago moved to Galatasaray as a free agent.
