Girona midfielder Viktor Tsygankov said that his team is interested in Ukrainian players. He singled out two players.
Tsygankov said that the Catalan club is interested in two midfielders from Ukraine - Mykola Shaparenko of Dynamo Kyiv and Oleksandr Pikhalenko of Dnipro-1. According to him, the club's management asked him about these players.
"The Girona management asked me about Pikhalenko and Shaparenko. But they have different situations. I was in a situation where I had six months left on my contract with Dynamo and I wanted the club to make money on me. I wanted to go to Europe, where I could play at the highest level and learn from others," Tsygankov said in an interview with the Trendets YouTube channel.
