Bosnia and Herzegovina head coach Savo Milosevic told what he expects from the match against Ukraine in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 play-offs, which will take place on 21 March in Zenica.
"I am in constant contact with the players of our national team. In the near future I am planning a trip to Germany and Turkey, where many of our "national team" play. I will watch their matches there and take the opportunity to talk live.
We are satisfied with the current form of the national team players who play for their clubs. However, everything is relative, and the most important thing for us is for everyone to be healthy before the play-offs and for us to approach the upcoming match without any personnel losses. In general, all the guys know our plans for the match with Ukraine, and I believe that we will properly prepare for this match.
It will not be easy for us in the play-offs, because we have the Ukrainian national team, which is a very high-quality team. It is good that we play at home. I hope we will pass the Ukrainians, and in March we will have not one match, but two. This type of playoffs is difficult, and everything is possible in one game. But I believe that we can succeed and reach the European Championship. We are all aiming for that," Milosevic said in comments to the official website of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation.
