In the 51st minute Nantes increased their lead with a goal by T. Cadevera, leaving Toulouse in the minority by two goals. Realising that they needed fresh energy, Toulouse made a triple substitution in the 60th minute. K. Mavissa Elebi was replaced by L. Costa, A. Donnum came on in place of F. Magri, and V. Sierro made room for S. Spierings.
"Nantes" also made substitutions to maintain their pace and energy. In the 65th minute, B. Traore was replaced by S. Appua, and in the 71st minute M. Coco came on in place of N. Kozza. Toulouse looked like they had a chance to get back on track when in the 73rd minute F. Magri hit the net. However, the goal was cancelled due to the recognition of offside. Mostafa Mohamed came on in place of M. Ablin, and J. Duvernay replaced E. Mongo. Toulouse showed resilience until the end, and their efforts were rewarded in the 90th minute when T. Dallinga found the ball in the net, bringing the score to 1:2. However, it was too late to come back and Nantes held on for the win. The match between Toulouse and Nantes was exciting and showed the competitiveness and skill of both teams. Nantes' early dominance and well-executed goals secured their victory, leaving Toulouse with the bitter taste of defeat.
