Shakhtar winger Oleksiy Kashchuk had an offer from the Turkish Super League - the Ukrainian decided to stay with the Pitmen.
AsFootball 24 has learned, Kashchuk could have joined Turkish side Trabzonspor. However, Shakhtar were not satisfied with the amount of the offer, and Kashchuk himself did not want to go to Turkey. He intends to finalise his contract with Shakhtar and then move to Europe as a free agent.
As a reminder, Alexey's contract with Shakhtar is valid until 30 June 2024. This season, he has played 12 matches for the Donetsk side in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist.
