Manchester City has set a new goal record in the Champions League. It will be recalled that in the first leg of the Champions League last-16 against Copenhagen, Josep Guardiola's men won 1-3 away from home.

"The Citizens became the first team in the history of the Champions League to score 3+ goals in seven consecutive matches. Prior to the match against Copenhagen, Guardiola's team had beaten RB Leipzig (3-1 and 3-2), Red Star (3-1 and 3-2) and Young Boys (3-1 and 3-0) in the group.
