Real Madrid midfielder Braim Diaz, who was named by UEFA as the best player of the Champions League last-16 match against RB Leipzig, said that Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin also deserves this award.
After the match, Diaz posted a joint photo with Lunin on his Instagram page, noting the following: "This award is also yours. Great game".
As a reminder, leading statistical portals such as WhoScored and SofaScore unanimously recognised Lunin as the best player of the match, as he made 9 saves.
