A ceremony organised by the National Sports Agency (former Ministry of Sport) took place in Romania to award the best sports figures of this country for 2023.
Мирча Луческу (слева) с наградойThe winner in one of the nominations was the former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu. He received a special award "Legend of Sport". The award was presented to the specialist by the famous Romanian sportsman and now businessman Ion Ciriac.
"The fact that I received this award was an extremely pleasant surprise for me, especially as I have a fantastic admiration for Ciriac and everything he has done in sport," Lucescu said during the ceremony.
