Sergiy Baltacha (1958) is a former defender who also played as a midfielder. He played for Kharkiv "Metalist", English "Ipswich Town", as well as for Scottish "St Johnstone" and "Inverness". But the greatest sporting success Baltacha achieved, defending the colours of Dynamo Kyiv, where he became a four-time champion and winner of the USSR Cup. In 1986, as part of the "Blue and White" Sergei Pavlovich won the last European Cup in the history of Kyiv - Cup Winners' Cup. After the end of his playing career he stayed in London.
Denys Popov (1999) - defender of Dynamo Kyiv. Primary football training took place in Kyiv RVUFK, after which he continued his training at Dynamo. He made his debut for our team in the Ukrainian U-19 Championship on 13 March 2016 in an away match against Shakhtar Donetsk, which resulted in a 4-1 defeat of the opponents.
On 13 April 2019, he made his debut in the main Dynamo squad in the match against Mariupol. He played for the youth and youth national teams of Ukraine under 17, under 18, under 19, under 20 and under 21. In 2019, as part of the youth national team of Ukraine under 20 years old became the winner of the Youth World Championship.
Igor Gamula (1960-2021) was a former Soviet midfielder. At press conferences he usually behaved casually, emotionally. "Thanks" to this, his name became a nominal one among football fans. In Ukraine he coached "Tavria", "Zakarpattya". He died on 8 December 2021. According to the preliminary version, the cause of death could be hypoglycaemic shock.
