Former Dynamo forward Viktor Leonenko has commented on the statement of Ukraine national team coach Serhiy Rebrov, in which the coach put the expert on a par with Ihor Tsyganyk and Viktor Vatsko.
Recently, responding to a journalist's question about the influence on the institution of national teams of people who learnt from Gleb Platov's PASS platform, Rebrov said the following.
"We now have to comment on the statements of all bloggers - Leonenko, Vatsko, Tsyganik .... Someone said something, and we have to respond. Once again - this is my responsibility. I hire those people whom I trust and in whom I see a perspective".
FanDay.net contacted Viktor Leonenko to get his opinion on the fact that the head coach of the Ukrainian national team called him a blogger.
"I do not want to answer anything, because Rebrov is offensive, he will hang on me then another defeat from Bosnia (in the play-offs of the selection for Euro 2024 - ed.). We like to put the responsibility on someone else. Although I believe that Ukraine will pass this team, we are stronger. What kind of blogger am I that he puts me on a par with Vatsko and Tsyganik?! I am a former footballer who can give an interview, and even then rarely," Leonenko said.
