Today, the famous ex-Dynamo player of the 80s and former coach of our team Anatolii Demianenko celebrates his 65th birthday. Ihor Surkis, the president of FC Dynamo Kyiv, congratulated the hero of the day on his milestone.

Your name is forever inscribed in golden letters in the history of Dynamo Kyiv, a whole era of our football is associated with it, and your contribution to the collection of glorious victories cannot be overestimated. The list of your achievements and trophies that you have won with Dynamo over 10 years of playing for the White and Blues is truly impressive.
Thanks to your human qualities, high moral values and desire for the highest results, you were a true team leader, and thanks to your authority and respect among your teammates, you were its captain. Your incredible performance earned you not only the love and recognition of the fans, but also the title of the best footballer in the USSR in 1985.
After your football career ended, you continued to devote your life to football, switching to coaching. And you were successful in this field as well. Under your leadership, Dynamo Kyiv won the Ukrainian league title, the Ukrainian Cup and the Super Cup twice.
On this festive day, I sincerely wish you, dear jubilee, good health, happiness, harmony, prosperity, fulfilment of dreams, success in all your endeavours and, of course, peaceful life in a free and independent Ukraine.
