French Marseille have officially announced the dismissal of Gennaro Gattuso as head coach of the team.
The club's press service has not yet announced the name of the new coach, but it is expected to be Jean-Louis Gasset. The specialist will sign an agreement until the end of the current season.
Recall, Marseille are Shakhtar's opponents in the Europa League play-offs. The return leg will take place in France on Thursday, 22 February.
