"Napoli announced on its official website the appointment of Francesco Calzoni as coach of the Slovak national team.

The 55-year-old specialist replaced Walter Mazzarri, who resigned after his appointment in November. This is the second coaching change at the Naples club this season.

"It is the first time in 26 years that Napoli has changed its coach twice in a season. The previous time Napoli had so many coaching changes was in the 1997/98 season. Such radical changes had a negative impact on the team's results, as it finished last in Serie A with 14 points in 34 matches.
