Former Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has criticised Joan Laporta for not keeping Lionel Messi at the Catalan giants.

Messi could have been part of this decision, and we don't realise the sporting value of what happened for Barcelona. I will fix that," he said in an interview with RAC1.
