Barcelona midfielder Frankie de Jong has responded to rumours linking him to a move away from the Catalan side in the summer transfer window.
"As usual, there is a lot of fake news in the media. Some members of the press should be ashamed of this, it has to stop. Some people made up my salary figures. I am very happy at Barcelona and hope to stay here for many years," de Jong was quoted as saying by journalist Fabrizio Romano on social media site X.
