Before the EFL Cup final, Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino recalled his visit to Anfield, when Liverpool won 4-1. The coach suggested that the referees made several controversial decisions in favour of the opponents.
Pochettino fears that the referees may be sympathetic to Liverpool because of Klopp's decision to leave Anfield at the end of the season.
"I believe there will be fair competition. It is very important to be fair in every single decision.
I am the first to say that Liverpool is exceptional and Klopp is one of the best coaches in the world. But after the last experience at Anfield, I would like to have the same level of play at Wembley. The best team will win," Pochettino was quoted as saying by Daily Sports.
