Head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk Marino Pušić commented on his side's 0-0 draw with Oleksandriya in today's match of the 18th round of the Ukrainian Premier League.

We didn't get the result we wanted, it was a draw. We constantly tried to show our game, but it was not always easy given the conditions, I mean the pitch.
It was difficult to play quickly and find the right decisions because of the circumstances. It was a difficult match. We tried to play, the opponent also had their opportunities, which we countered quite well in defensive exits. This was clearly seen in the last 15 minutes when we made some changes. We dominated during this part, created two or three good chances and then had to score a goal, because the pitch was no longer dry, the pace increased. You could see that the ball was moving faster, so we could move more easily through the positional play. We did everything we could.
The team showed character and fought to the end. We tried to find space and create chances, but we were unlucky at the end. Despite the difficulties of this game and the circumstances, I believe we deserved a goal, but unfortunately we were unable to score it. We have a draw, which is not a very good result for us, but still a result. As I told my team, I am satisfied with the way we tried to play, the way we showed character in the last 15 minutes, so we do not lose heart and move on," said Pušić at a press conference after the match against Oleksandriya.
