For the first time since 1930, the Nerazzurri have scored at least four goals in four consecutive Serie A matches. Prior to the meeting with Atalanta, Simone Inzaghi's team defeated Lecce (4-0), Salernitana (4-0) and Roma (4-2).
In the current Serie A campaign, Inter has already scored 67 goals in 26 matches. In the previous season, the Milanese scored 71 goals.
