UAF SCC Chairman Vitaliy Naum commented on the information regarding the fine imposed on Obolon and other Ukrainian league clubs for the late start of matches.
Photo: uaf.ua"According to the materials received from the UPL regarding the violations that took place during the matches of the 18th and 19th rounds of the Ukrainian Championship, most of these violations were delayed kick-offs. In particular, in round 19, six out of eight matches started late.
Delaying the start of a match is a violation of the regulations. This violation is punishable by a mandatory cash payment of UAH 5,000 or more. However, in most cases, the UAF SCC took into account extenuating circumstances, and the fine was reduced.
Given the dissemination by some media of information with elements of manipulation, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that teams are obliged to follow the countdown to the match with a detailed minute-by-minute plan and carry out all pre-match activities in accordance with it.
In turn, I ask media representatives not to manipulate information about certain decisions of the UAF CDC, especially those related to the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian Defence Forces in pre-match events. After all, it is thanks to our defenders that we have the opportunity to hold football matches on the territory of Ukraine," said Vitaliy Naum, Head of the UAF SCC, in his commentary to the UAF press service.
