Shakhtar Donetsk announced on its official website that it is filing a lawsuit against midfielder Bohdan Viunnyk, who has joined Polish side Lechia.

The club repeatedly offered the player the opportunity to return to the club's premises, but the player rejected these offers. Subsequently, the player announced the unilateral termination of his contract with FC Shakhtar dated 22 February 2024.
FC Shakhtar does not agree with the termination of the contract and will file a lawsuit against the player and his new club FC Lechia with the relevant competent authorities," the statement reads.
