Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp spoke about striker Darwin Nunez after the first leg of the Europa League last-16 against Sparta (5-1).
"He loves playing for this team and his level is just incredible. It happens with strikers: they score and then they don't. Is he at the peak of his form now? In our opinion, no. But can he develop? Yes, he can. Is he a constant threat? Yes, he is. When he is not scoring for us, he is incredibly important because he is a constant threat and creates space and options for us," Klopp was quoted as saying by UEFA's official website.
It should be noted that the Uruguayan forward scored a double against Sparta.
