At the request of Dynamo.kiev.ua, Dynamo Kyiv youth team striker Roman Salenko reacted to the rumours that appeared yesterday regarding his prolonged absence from the team's training process and told when we can expect his return to the pitch.

After all, at the very beginning of the off-season training camp, I injured my Achilles and so I didn't train for a long time. For a while I was wearing a special "boot" on my injured leg. Only about a week ago the doctors allowed me to get rid of it.
Since then I started training on an individual programme under the guidance of a rehabilitator. I'm already doing running work, and today I'll start training with the ball. If everything goes well, next week I will be able to start training in the general group," Salenko said.
