- This issue is very complicated, because it is not only about players, but also about coaches, doctors, and referees. But...

Sport plays an important representative role both at home and abroad. Preparing for and participating in competitions is a marker of continued life in a country at war. In addition, sport has always been an effective lever of influence on the international community, and this is especially important in the current situation. Therefore, even in such a difficult moment, I think it is important to continue to participate in competitions at the highest level, representing Ukraine and constantly mobilising the international community to support our country. However, the final decision on how many, at which events and who exactly should represent Ukraine is made by the state authorities," said Andriy Mykolayovych.
