As Sport.ua has learned, the former head coach of Polissya Yurii Kalytvintsev had a strained relationship with the club's sporting director Volodymyr Tesla.
The specialists had different visions of the team's squad. Kalytyntsev wanted to see more experienced Ukrainian players in the squad, while Teslya believed that the club should focus on foreigners. For this purpose, a new chief scout Anatolii Volkov was invited to the selection.
Coach Kalytyntsev's desire to sign Oleksandr Pikhalenko and Oleksiy Hutsulyak was not supported by the management. Brazilian Tellez Costa and Frenchman Yasin Fortune were signed for these positions, which the former head coach did not really want to see in the team.
