According to the source, Bundesliga coach Julian Nagelsmann wants to use his teammate, 19-year-old midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic, in Goretzka's place.
Goretzka has been called up to the German national team since 2014. As part of the German national team, Leon won gold medals at the 2017 Confederations Cup.
