A training camp for female referees is taking place in Lviv, conducted by representatives of the Ukrainian Football Association's Referees Committee Viktor Derdo, Mykhailo Ovchar and Andriy Shandor.
The STC programme began with a pedagogical test for referees and assistant referees on theoretical knowledge of the Laws of the Game and the UEFA video test.
This was followed by a series of theoretical classes on the following topics:
- Current IFAB, FIFA and UEFA interpretation of the offside rule.
- Current interpretation and requirements of FIFA, UEFA and UAF regarding episodes related to the interpretation of the game with the hand.
- Current interpretation and requirements of FIFA, UEFA and UAF regarding the interpretation of situations involving offences of recklessness, reckless manner or excessive force and interference.
- Offside: the choice of position and movement that creates the best conditions for decision-making.
- Modern interpretation and requirements of FIFA, UEFA and UAF regarding situations related to important decisions in the penalty area.
- Practical advice for assistant referees. Offside position: the level of concentration on the game.
- The current interpretation and requirements of FIFA, UEFA and UAF regarding the interpretation of situations with violations of the OGM (disruption of an obvious scoring opportunity) and the OA (stopping a promising attack).
The STC participants also conduct practical training sessions with watching the matches of the final stage of the WU-14 Girls' League Cup and pass a fitness test.
