Yuriy Moroz's men won three victories in the elite round robin in Greece. The Ukrainians defeated Slovakia and Switzerland with the same score of 3:0 and proved to be stronger than the hosts, the Greeks, 2:0. 8 goals scored and zero conceded.

The youth national team of Ukraine included 5 players from the Dynamo system:

Oleksiy Rybak. He is a right-back who can also play on the left wing. In the first match of the second part, Oleksiy made his debut for Dynamo U-19 in the match against Metalist-1925. Rybak played in the first team against Switzerland and came on as a substitute in the game against Greece. He missed the match against Slovakia due to injury. He played on the left in defence.

Demian Tretiak. Played all three matches in the starting line-up. With the score 3-0 in the last game against Slovakia, he gave way to Yevhen Riabokon. He plays as a central defender. In the match against the Slovaks, he led the team with the captain's armband. Like Rybak, he made his debut for Dynamo's youth team in a match against Metalist-1925. He has been in the Kyiv club's system since the summer of 2023. After the outbreak of war, he ended up at Dinamo Zagreb. He is a graduate of the Dnipro school.

Volodymyr Ozymai. Played the first game against the Greeks. Played the second half against the Swiss. In the game against Slovakia, he came on as a substitute in the middle of the second half. He plays as a central midfielder. Since the autumn, he has been in the Dynamo youth team.

Bohdan Redushko. He started all three games, though he was changed during the game. He can play as a winger, central midfielder and even a forward. In the national team, he played in the middle of the field. In winter, he worked with the youth team at a training camp in Turkey. In the match against Metalist-1925, he made his debut at the U-19 championship level.

Pavlo Liusin. This player is a year younger - born in 2008. He played the last game against Slovakia in the first team. The first two games he played as a substitute. He was at the training camp with Dynamo's youth team, but has not yet made his debut at this level. Lucin plays as an attacking midfielder.

No other club has so many representatives at the U-17 level.

Other Dynamo players are among the candidates for the national team: goalkeeper Danylo Moiseev, defender Daniel Dykhtyar (missed the tournament due to injury), and forward Maksym Kalinkin.

Two former Dynamo players took part in the elite round: Dynamo Dresden forward Dmytro Bogdanov (one of the best players in the tournament alongside Tretiak and Redushko) and Atalanta midfielder Aleksandr Dragan. We shouldn't forget about Bayer Leverkusen's main goalkeeper Oleksandr Petrenko, who missed the tournament due to a hand injury. All of them left the Dynamo Academy after the outbreak of war.
