Following the XXVI Congress of the Ukrainian Football Association held on 25 January, the Executive Committee decided to support the initiative of UAF President Andriy Shevchenko to establish the Assembly of Regions, whose activities should promote football development in the regions and their interaction.
The working group, which included representatives of the regions and the administration of the Ukrainian Football Association, prepared a draft regulation on the Assembly, which was approved by the Executive Committee on 13 March and signed by the UAF President. The first meeting of the UAF Assembly of Regions is scheduled for Monday, 18 March (starting at 12:00).
