Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Miralem Pjanic has shared his expectations for the Euro 2024 qualification play-off match against Ukraine.
Miralem Pjanic"I expect the match of a lifetime. It is a dream for me to go with the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team to the European Championship. I went to the World Cup for the first time in the history of the national team and now I want to go to Euro 2024. We have a tough game ahead of us, but the big positive is our fans, who will be an advantage for our team.
We have fantastic fans and I hope we can please them. It would be great for the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina to qualify for Euro 2024 and we will do everything to achieve this goal.
The Ukrainian national team has quality players. They are a young and strong team. I watched a few of their matches - they are a very good team, which caused a lot of problems to Italy. This says a lot about their qualities. But we have to be ready for such matches. I am looking forward to the upcoming match, I will come to the national team with great motivation," Pjanic is quoted by Scsport.ba.
