If this information is confirmed, Milan faces punishment not only from the Italian Serie A, but also from all European tournaments under the auspices of UEFA.
Elliott Management also owns shares in the French club Lille, which plays in European competitions. Two clubs with the same owner cannot play in the same UEFA tournament.
