The FIFA press service has reacted to the incident that took place in the match of the 30th round of the Turkish championship between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe (2:3). After the final whistle, Fenerbahçe players started celebrating the victory in the centre of the pitch, but this did not please Trabzonspor fans who ran onto the pitch and as a result a scuffle broke out between them and the players.

I have said it before and I will say it again - in football, all players, without exception, must be safe to play the football that brings joy to so many people around the world.
I call on the relevant authorities to enforce this at all levels and hold those responsible for the shocking events in Trabzon accountable for their actions," Infantino was quoted as saying by FIFA's official Twitter page.
