Well-known Ukrainian TV commentator Igor Tsyganik actually confirmed the information of Spanish media that the participation of Ukraine midfielder Viktor Tsygankov in the match of the semi-final play-off round of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held this Thursday, is practically excluded.
Viktor Tsygankov"As far as I understand, Tsygankov's participation in the match against the Bosnians is unlikely. He did not train on Saturday, when he arrived at the national team, nor the next day. It was expected that on Monday Tsygankov will try to go on the field (as it was already reported, Viktor trained on an individual programme that day - ed.). But we hope for a miracle and that Tsygankov will be able to play at least a few minutes in the match with the Bosnians", - said Tsyganik on the air of Youtube-channel FootballHub.
Recall, on 10 March, Tsygankov was injured - sprain of the medial collateral ligament of the knee of the 1st degree. The recovery period after such an injury is three to four weeks.
