The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team last Monday began preparations for the semi-final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle against Ukraine, which will be held next Thursday, 21 March.
In the first training session of the current training camp of the Bosnian national team did not take part its captain and leader - striker Edin Dzeko. There is no information about the reasons for his absence at the training session. It is possible that the 38-year-old player was simply given a rest, because a day earlier he played almost a full match for Fenerbahce in the Turkish championship (Dzeko was replaced only in the 82nd minute of this meeting).
Goalkeeper Kenan Piric and striker Nemanja Bilbija also did not train yesterday. According to the head coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina Savo Milosevic, both of these players arrived at the location of the national team with micro-injuries.
According to Bosnian media reports, both Dzeko, Piric and Bilbija will be ready for the match against Ukraine.
