Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalonok shared his expectations for the upcoming match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 play-offs.
Serhii Rebrov's wards are preparing for the March matches in full strength. Ukraine midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalenok assessed the team's readiness for the game against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"I would rate our preparation as good. We played a two-sided game, there was a lot of theory, a lot of training. There were both loads and a decline. I think we will approach the match in optimal condition.
Bosnia is a very powerful, unyielding team, like all the Balkans. They will fight from the first to the last minute, trying to get to the Euros. But if we do our best in this match, we should succeed. We have to be focused on our own game. There is no underestimation at all, it will be a very difficult match," said Alexander Pikhalenok.
It will be recalled that the semi-final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers Bosnia and Herzegovina - Ukraine will take place on 21 March in Zenica and will start at 20:45 local time (21:45 Kyiv time).
