Iceland's captain Johann Berg Gudmundsson has revealed what he expects from his national team's match against Ukraine in the final play-off round of the Euro 2024 qualifying round, which will take place tomorrow in Wroclaw.
"We are not afraid of Ukraine at all. Yes, of course, we know that this team has great players who play in the top leagues. But that is not always important: you must have a great team, first of all.
Besides, we have to take into account that the Ukraine national team will play us after an extremely difficult match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, who showed themselves at their best," Johann Berg Gudmundsson said on Icelandic TV.
