The Ukraine national team yesterday held a regulation pre-match training session at the Tarczynski Arena stadium in Wrocław, where today the Blue-Yellows will play the final play-off match of the Euro 2024 qualifying round against Iceland.
All 28 players in the national team camp took part in the session, the official UAF website reported. During the game series, the coaching staff conducted a final check on the readiness of performers and received important information. Head coach of Ukraine Serhiy Rebrov and his assistants have finalised the process of game preparation, so the coach of the "blue-yellow" has some more time until the end of the day to decide on the application of 23 performers for the upcoming match. And there is still time for tactical and psychological mood.
However, already now we can state the fighting mood in the camp of the Ukraine national team. The players realise how important the upcoming match is for the whole country and are ready to give their best and even more for the sake of fulfilling the common desire of the Ukrainians, who need positive emotions more than ever. Daily bombardments, which are arranged on our territories by the terrorist country, are reflected by deep pain in the hearts of the guys and hellish hatred for the enemy-hater.
The day before yesterday, after the final training in Opalenitsa, the guys unfurled the Free Azovstal Defenders banner, once again reminding Europe of the importance of releasing prisoners and the fact that the war continues in Ukraine and people die every day.
