The matches are very difficult. We understand that when you make a mistake, it can be very costly. It was obvious that the guys were nervous, but in the second half, when we started to control the ball, the guys caught their game. Tsygankov's goal was very cool. We missed him in the previous match, because he has gained good form now. He scored a great goal. Mudryk's second goal - I'm very happy for him, we hope that he is starting to gain momentum and will demonstrate his best qualities at the Euros.
You can't score goals in every match, but the main thing is that the guys play with incredible desire in every match. And today they showed it. We had absolute faith in them, in the coaching staff. Sergey Stanislavovich did an incredible job, taking over the team at a very important moment. He completely changed it, and the team gained a strong character. It was very important that even when we were losing, there was an understanding that we would never break and would play to the end. The team did everything to win.
We've seen a lot of comebacks in this cycle, but I think this was the best. We believed in our victory, we believed in ourselves. We have very talented people. I am confident that we can overcome everything," Shevchenko said on the UAF YouTube channel.
