Brazilian striker Neymar could return to Barcelona. Sensational news has been circulating in the Spanish media since this morning.
The Brazilian has already spoken to the president of the reigning Spanish champions, Joan Laporta, about a return to Camp Nou.
Neymar played for the Catalans for four years, from 2013 to 2017, he won everything he could, played 186 games in which he scored 105 goals and gave 76 assists. He then moved to PSG for a record 222 million euros, and from there he moved to Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal last summer, where he earns an astronomical salary of 150 million euros per season. He played just 5 games there, with one goal and three assists, but injured his left knee and finished the season.
According to the Spaniards, it is more realistic to expect Neymar to return to Barça, but not now, but in the summer of 2025, when his contract with Al-Hilal ends. The reason for this is the financial problems at the Catalan club, due to which the budget for transfers and salaries is limited.
