Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag commented on the result of the 30th round of the English Championship match against Brentford (1-1).
"Brentford wanted to win more than we did, and you could see that throughout the game. After the break for the national teams, we did not show the high level of play that we had before. Yes, we were lucky to get a point, but if you take the lead at the end of the game, you don't want to lose the win," the Manchester Evening News quoted ten Hag as saying.
It will be recalled that Mancunian midfielder Mason Mount opened the scoring on 90+6 minutes, but Brentford defender Christopher Ayer set the final result of the game on 90+9 minutes.
