Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi commented on the 5-1 victory over Vorskla in the Ukrainian league match on Matchday 22 on the TV channel.
Alexander Shovkovsky- First of all, I would like to thank our soldiers and defenders for the opportunity to hold the championship and play. I will keep saying this. You saw for yourself today how many air raids there were and how long the break in the game was.
As for the game, the score does not reflect the tension that was on the pitch. But in this particular match, our execution was at a fairly high level. We scored five goals and should have scored a sixth, but we conceded on the counterattack. We knew that it would be a difficult game, primarily because it is always very difficult to play after national team matches. We were missing 12 players. The remaining eight trained. We involved U-19 players in training. Many returned exhausted, primarily emotionally. A very important task was solved for the national team, for all football fans, for the country as a whole. The European Championships are ahead, where we also need to give such positive emotions to all fans. We are showing that no matter how hard it is, Ukrainians will fight to the end and win.

- You know, it is difficult for him. We saw how much he wanted to play, but everything is not going smoothly. The injury turned out to be difficult and the recovery is also not easy. He is not yet one hundred per cent ready, but he has almost gained his conditioning. We have a difficult period ahead, we will play every 3-4 days - and we will need all the players.
- Meanwhile, Kabayev has opened up. Who will be in the starting line-up now?
- It's a nice headache for a coach to motivate everyone. But everyone understands that the road to the national team is not closed to anyone.
- You wanted to replace Sirota, but replaced Brazhko. Does he have any injuries?
- We wanted to replace Syrota because he had a yellow card. But we really saw that Brazko has a certain problem. I hope it's not too big. He felt the back of his thigh a little bit. And given the result, we decided to replace him and move Sirota to the support area.
