In the much awaited Ligue 1 match between Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain, fans were treated to a tense and exciting game at the Orange Velodrome. The score was 0-0 at half-time, with both teams showing solid defence, but things changed in the second half as Paris Saint-Germain's Vitinha scored in the 53rd minute to put the visitors ahead. Marseille tried to respond by making a couple of substitutions, but the PSG defence held firm.
In the 85th minute, J. Ramos scored another goal, to the disappointment of Marseille fans, and Paris Saint-Germain strengthened their lead. Despite their best efforts, Marseille were unable to get back into the game and the match ended 0-2 in favour of Paris Saint-Germain. There were many yellow cards in the game, and L. Beraldo of Paris Saint-Germain received a red card in the 40th minute, leaving his team in the minority for most of the match. Overall, it was an exciting match that showcased the talent and skill of both teams. Paris Saint-Germain won the match, gaining all three points in the Ligue 1 standings.
