Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi and Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann are the two favourites to become the new coach of Bayern Munich, Sky Sports reports.

Xabi Alonso, who currently manages Bayer Leverkusen and is determined to end the Bavarians' 11-year dominance in the Bundesliga, was considered the favourite to become Bayern's next coach. However, Alonso announced that he would stay in Leverkusen next season, disappointing both Bayern and Liverpool.
