Goalkeeper of Cherkasy LNZ Yevhen Kucherenko - about yesterday's match of his team with Dynamo Kyiv (1:1) in the 23rd round of the Ukrainian championship.
"I learnt about the fact that I will play with Dynamo a day before the match. Of course, I had a nervousness, but when I came on the pitch, everything went to the background.
After the conceded goal I calmed down, relaxed and then, as you saw, made a good save. It gave confidence to me and the team, we scored in a standard position and then played calmly.
What was the main strength of Dynamo? Serves to the goal - yes, you always have to be ready for them, but the most difficult for me were slashing passes to the central zone. It was always very dangerous.
As for the result of the match, I think it was logical. But this season it does not matter who the opponents are - Shakhtar, Dynamo, you can play and win with everyone," Kucherenko said in a commentary to the press service of LNZ.
