As planned, yesterday the UEFA management held a meeting with representatives of the teams participating in Euro 2024 on the possible expansion of the application lists of national teams at the upcoming European Championship from 23 to 26 players.
The overwhelming majority (including the Ukrainian side) of the Euro participants were in favour of approving such a norm. However, France and Germany were against it.
Now UEFA has taken a pause to analyse the situation and the arguments of all sides. The final verdict will be issued no later than in a fortnight.
