Zhytomyr Polissya striker Pylyp Budkivskyi was injured in a game episode of the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Championship match against Zakarpattia's Minaj. In the struggle for the ball, Pylyp and the opposing defender bumped heads.
Pylyp Budkivsky (No. 28)As a result of the injury, Pylyp Budkivsky was taken by ambulance to hospital where he underwent an additional examination - a computed tomography scan. After the match, Pylyp and his team returned to Zhytomyr by train.
On the morning of 9 April, the club's medical staff received extended examination results and can state that Pylyp suffered a fracture of the maxillary sinus in his face.
