The winner of the Golden Ball 2001 Michael Owen commented on the 3:3 draw between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
Michael Owen- The level of accidental conversion was perfect. The six goals were the perfect aperitif to the return match. I think City are happier. They will fondly remember how it was 12 months ago and believe it can happen again," Owen said.
The return match takes place a week later, on 17 April, in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium.
