All appointments of referees for the matches of the 24th round of the Ukrainian championship, which will be held this weekend, were determined by the draw, which took place yesterday in Kyiv at the House of Football, the official website of the UAF reports.

The draw procedure was conducted by the former captain of Kyiv Dynamo and the Ukraine national team, and now - the chairman of the UAF Professional Football Committee Oleh Luzhny, as well as the UPL sports director Maksym Stepanenko.

We shall remind you that UAF president Andriy Shevchenko spoke about the introduction of such a procedure for appointing referees in his programme. On 29 March, the UAF Referees Committee, headed by Kateryna Monzul, tried it for the first time when appointing referees for the 1/2 finals of the Ukrainian Cup.

Earlier we have already reported that as a result of the appointment of referees for the 24th round of the UPL, Oleksiy Derevinskyy will be the chief referee of the match Oleksandriya vs Dynamo.
